Provides complete control of existing fire ant colonies. Eliminates risk of relocation. Prevents development of future colonies. Approved for use on residential turf, landscapes, pastures. etc. Extinguish contains the insect growth regulator, methoprene, in an attractive bait form. Foraging fire ants locate the bait and take it back to their colony, where the queen feeds on it. Once ingested, the methoprene impairs the queen's ability to reproduce. As existing worker ants die off, there are no new workers to replace them. Soon, the entire colony is eliminated.
